About Me
- Name: DREW
- Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire
In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, and am a big fan of film and media. At university my role as a volunteer on the university magazine was very interesting; it was satisfying to know I had been part of the team that had produced the final product. In 2005 I Graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a 2.2 in BA Honours Illustration Degree. Whilst at university I visited Manhattan in New York, which was a fantastic experience and a place I aim to visit again. I am a social person and like to spend time with friends and enjoy meeting new people. I take an interest in current affairs, new technology, and I like to take time out and be creative by drawing and creating digital images.

The idea of the coloured nav helps a lot as the user can tell what page they are visiting much more easily now.
I'm also not sure if I've mentioned it already but just incase not I think the idea of incorporating flash to display your work is a great idea and saves a lot of space on your design.
You would however need to think how long someone would stay on your homepage and structure your movie appropriately.
I really like how you have incorporated the stars into your design and with the borders around images.
Your navigation is much better now too with the coloured tab effect to show the user what page they are on.
I still think that the header bar is too big, and that their is alot of room that could be used to advertise more of your work. Maybe lower the header size, make the site image smaller and add a few more thumbnails of your work in.
First impressions are going to be everything I think, and the more work you advertise on the viewers first look, the better.
I like the stars too that you have used on the homepage. I dont think the site needs a yellow box around the outside edge, the site would look just as good without it.
Maybe the colour could span the whole width of the page so it doesnt look as if its in a box.
